Congratulations to the Class of 2019 for your outstanding HSC results to cap off a fabulous year! We are so proud of you all. Equal second in the state for Engineering Studies went to Adam Robey. He also earned HSC All Rounder status, along with Edward Alukkal, Anthony Arsecularatne, Lochie Bown, Mohammed Huda, Minsu Jung, Amir Nadeem, Terance Nguyen, Timothy Tujito and Jihao Yu.

The 2020 SRC Planning Day took place on Tuesday 17 December. We can't wait to share all the great ideas we have brewing! Make sure you stay tuned, and from the SRC, we wish you a safe and happy holidays.


The 2019 Metropolitan South Operational Directorate Network Awards were held on 21 November 2019 at Ashfield Boys High School. This is an annual event that acknowledges and celebrates the fine contributions members of our school communities make for our students, our schools and to public education.

Congratulations to our very deserving award recipients Ms Gandhi Gunasekaran in the School Administrative and Support Staff category, Mr Warren Mak in the Parent or Community Member category and Sydney Technical High School in the Community of Schools category for our work and collaboration as part of the Kogarah Cluster (St George Girls High School, Kogarah High School, Moorefield Girls High School, James Cook Boys High School and Blakehurst High School).


Our History Extension scholars were hard at work on Monday 16 December at the University of Sydney library, researching their HSC projects.


We are so proud of Nehal Nafcy, the 2019 winner of the SBS Bangla National Languages Competition in the 16-18 years category! Well done, Nehal.
